Napoleon III Miniature Civil War Cannon
Item Number: TD800
Availability: Low Quantity
Called the Napoleon III, this cannon was used by both the North and South during the Civil War since it was light enough to be moved easily, yet heavy enough to destroy field fortifications miles away. Historically, the cannon was developed in France for Emperor Napoleon III in the 1850s, but later became the most common cannon used in the Civil War. This replica, made with exacting attention to detail, is crafted entirely in metal and solid wood, with a nickel barrel. This reminder of a momentous time in our nation's history measures 27.25" long and weighs in at a hefty 15 lbs. It stands 11.5" tall and is calibrated with a .69 barrel. To understand the sizes of the original just multiply these measurements by five. This replica has the look and feel of a working piece of artillery. A treasure for Civil War enthusiast, this magnificently detailed piece will make an imposing display in any home or office. Note: Cannot ship to residents of HI, IL, MA, MI, NJ, NY, or WA. Please check your local laws before ordering black powder propellant. Allow 2 - 4 weeks for delivery.
